Safal Fasal revolves around achieving the social objective by connecting the buyers, sellers, financial institutions, and service providers with the last mile value chain of Agri, MSME, SME sectors and also focusing on the commercial objective of maximizing value for the last mile beneficiaries as well as the buyers and sellers.

How is the solution unique, innovative or game changing?

The Safal Fasal Marketplace connects buyers and sellers and improves the income of the farmer by enabling access to multiple buyers, multiple input companies at reduced prices, credit at affordable rates, financial services lifting them into the real economy and access to advisory services for a more efficient and sustainable crop productivity. Providing visibility of the aggregated produce to the Market viz., quantity available, quality, date of availability. Thus provides aaccess to broader level of Market linkages and proper shipment, insurance whenever required. Access to quality input (seeds, fertilizers, crop nutrients) from international and domestic brands (Avg. margin for FPOs is 8 to 9%). Through MarketPlace they get better rates as they buy in bulk and to larger no. of sellers. Maintaining digital records help in access to credit from banks and NBFCs.

What is value proposition?

Technology is a far reach for the Agri industry in India, The farmers are not even able to satisfy their basic needs of Shelter, Food & Clothing. Thus to commercialize our Business Model we started a Phygital model which is Physical + Digital. We started Conducting Demo Farms with FPO's, Demo farm is piece of land where the inputs are practically used to demonstrate the real output of the crops/produce. We went on fields to connect with the FPO's and understand the real farm needs Thus helped farmers to link market and sell the agriculture produce. We collaborated with ICICI bank to provide virtual account to the needful farmers transacting on our platform. Introduced advisory services through webinars for good agriculture practices. Collaborated with Key Stake holders like Tanager, JSW Foundation, Reliance Foundation, Dr. Reddys Foundation etc.;input providers like Bayer, Mansoon Seeds, Samriddhi by Mahindra, Delta Agrigenetics Pvt ltd and many other value add services provider to increase our market reach. Thus we are now connected with 72 FPO's and present in 68+ Districts with a farmer reach of 129+K.
