At MPE 2020 conference, alongside our team, we have an amazing team of advisors from the highest levels of both merchants and payment providers & industry experts. This has given us a rock-solid foundation in both worlds, and a true path-to-high quality Agenda and conference program which has been evident in MPE conference participants growth so far.

Since the MPE inception in 2008, leading Europe's conference on merchant payments has grown to over 1000 senior level participants in 2019 representing the entire merchant payments value chain.

Debbie Crawford, Vice President, Acquirer Management Europe, Mastercard
Debbie has been working in payments for over 30 years and has undertaken many roles across the industry with a focus on Acquiring and Acceptance. She is currently Vice President at Mastercard with responsibility for Acquirer Management in Europe. Working closely with some the region’s largest Pan European Acquirers, Debbie seeks to promote the value of acceptance in the payments ecosystem and continues to champion the needs of the acquirer. In the run up to the London 2012 Olympics, Debbie led the first Olympic merchant and acquirer campaign, taking the games to over 250k merchants.


Paul Adams, International Payments Director, Barclaycard
Paul has over 15 years’ experience in payments and is now responsible for the general management and commercial leadership of the acquiring business, ensuring its financial performance and delivery of strategic plans. Paul is accountable for the risk and control environment and ensuring compliance with internal and external rules, regulations and legislation. Previously Paul managed relationships with the global payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and has also had roles spanning commercial, product, fraud/risk management, compliance oversight and change management.

Michael O'Loughlin, Vice President, Global Solutions, Token
Michael is currently spearheading Token’s development of a global market-changing open banking platform. He has a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving global payments landscape. Prior to joining Token, Michael led payments and crypto technology activities at CGI where he worked with clients to deliver practical uses of such new technology – a payments navigator for start-ups and banks alike. He was also responsible for innovation and strategy behind the company’s suite of payment solutions. Additionally, Michael previously worked as a management consultant at KPMG London and as Chief of Staff at Citi Europe.

Nathan Jackson, Managing Director, Presentify
With a career in secure payment processing and risk management technology in excess of 25 years, Nathan has held senior leadership roles with companies including Bottomline Technologies, CyberSource, and J.P. Morgan, as well as numerous advisory and consulting engagements. Nathan has worked with some of the world’s largest retail brands, financial institutions and innovative technology vendors in implementing secure, robust and reliable technology solutions.
In 2016 Nathan founded visual communication specialists Presentify - helping companies to more effectively engage with their target audience - and uses his experience to support clients in the Fintech sector to ‘tell their story’ in a compelling way.

Steve Cook, Specialist Biometrics and Fintech Consultant, Biometrics for eCommerce
Steve Cook is a specialist independent biometrics and fintech consultant, helping banks, ecommerce enterprises and fintech start-ups to navigate the complex world of biometrics. He advises financial institutions regarding their deployment of biometric authentication and digital identity strategies; assisting in the process of vendor selection, biometric modalities and types of solutions. Steve has over six years’ experience in the biometrics industry previously with Daon and Facebanx. He now operates his own consultancy business Biometrics for eCommerce and he is currently providing services to a fintech start-up FaceTec as well as a major European bank.

Christine Bailey, Chief Marketing Officer, Valitor

Amit heads Amazon Pay’s acceptance in India and is an expert voice on country's payments ecosystem. As a practitioner, he has closely witnessed and participated in the rapid evolution of digital payments landscape in the country. He has spent close to 15 years in payments and Fintech space delivering products and solutions for regions across the world. Carl Churchill, Owner & Managing Director, NetPay Solutions Group
Carl Churchill is the Managing Director of NetPay Group. Carl first started in the communications industry in 1999 heading up a Birmingham based ISP and telco, the business was an innovator of its time being one of the first providers to deliver outbound calls screened against the telephone preference services specifically for marketing organisations.
The business remained successful through the boom and bust of the dot com era with Carl exiting the business in 2001. From there Churchill co-founded an ISP delivering services to organisations such as the NHS and Police Federation before joining forces with long term partners at murphx Innovative Solutions in 2003 which was subsequently sold to Daisy Group PLC in June 2010. Carl left Daisy Wholesale in October 2012 to found NetPay Group. Carl was listed in the number 1 spot of the "Rich List 2020" in 2003, a projected rich list commissioned by the Royal Bank of Scotland with Philip Beresford, the producer of the Sunday Times Rich List with his entrepreneurial talent and skills expected him to generate a net worth of £100 million by 2020.

Ron Kalifa, Deputy Chairman, WorldPay
Ron sits on the Worldpay Board of Directors and was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Worldpay for over 10 years. Prior to this, Ron held various executive roles within RBS and NatWest. Ron is regarded as an expert in the card and payments industry and was recognized as “Industry Personality of the Year” at the 2011 Card & Payments Awards for his commitment and contribution to the field.
