Should something prevent you from attending, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge anytime. We require for all cancellations or changes in attendee details to be sent to us at mpe@merchantpaymentsecosystem.com
In case of cancellation, we encourage you to look for a substitute delegate. In case a substitute delegate is not found, we will offer a credit transfer for the amount charged to be used for the next upcoming MPE event in the future. In case a credit transfer is not acceptable, a charge of 50% of the registration fee plus €100 (VAT included) administrative charge will apply for any cancellations received at least two weeks before the conference. We will not refund cancellations received within two weeks before the conference start date, and invoiced sums will be payable in full.
Cancellations received due to COVID19 infection, or any other sickness are handled following the same rules as stated above.
Notwithstanding any other term of the Contract, if we determine that, as a direct result of COVID-19, it has become commercially impractical or unfeasible to hold the Event, we will notify you in writing as soon as reasonably practicable, and your pass will be transferred to the next edition of the Event.
We reserve the right to do this at any time and we shall not be liable to you for any other cost or other expenses (including, wasted costs and expenses) incurred by you as a consequence (including, travel and accommodation expenses).
In case that Empiria Events s.r.o. (further referred to as "The Organizer") postpones an event, we will credit all appropriate delegate payments towards the rescheduled date. The Organizer is not responsible for any damage or loss due to a substitution, change, or postponement/cancellation of an event. The Organizer accepts no liability whatsoever if we postpone or cancel the event due to adventitious circumstances or unforeseen occurrences. The Organizer also accepts no liability in the case of the Act of God or any other event that exerts this event's performance unfeasible or impossible. Please note that we confirm our speakers and topics at the time of event preparation and publishing. However, circumstances beyond our control as the Organizer may require changes, substitutions, or the speakers' cancellations and topics. Therefore, the Organizer reserves the right to modify the initially announced list of speakers and topics if necessary, without previous notice. We will report any changes, modifications, or substitutions to all participating parties as soon as possible.
We may contact you regarding the services offered by us, the Organizer, or our partner companies, which we believe may be of interest to you. By signing up for any of our events, you agree to our personal information processing in this way. The Organizer may use your email address to send you occasional marketing offers to complement the event you are attending or providing information relevant to your position and industry. You may opt-out of any / all of the email types received from the Organizer at any time, using the unsubscribe link provided in each marketing email sent by the Organizer.
By registering for the MPE event, you also consent to use your credentials in the MPE mobile app or any third party communication app chosen by the Organizer to allow matchmaking, chat and meeting scheduling functionalities to gather the most out of the event. To make this possible both for you and the others, we may upload your name, job title, company name, and email address to the MPE software platform/app or third-party platform/app before the event. Your email address will not be visible in the app unless you choose so, but other participants and the Organizer can use it to communicate with you from within the platform/app.
The Organizer of the MPE conference or its appointed partner company will be taking photos and recording videos at MPE Conference. The Organizer will use these images to share news about the conference and publicize our next event. We may use the photos in press releases, printed publicity, and published on MPE Social Media Pages. We will store the images securely until the next conference, after which we will delete them. If you prefer not to be photographed, please write to policy@empiriagroup.eu). If you would like to see your images before we use them or would like us to delete them, please email us at mpe@merchantpaymentsecosystem.com at any time.
